From the moment my companions and I arrived at the White Bear, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff. Our rooms were cozy and clean, providing a relaxing retreat after a long day of travel. the bar and terrace were perfect spots to unwind with a drink in hand, enjoying the charming atmosphere of this lovely old building. Despite the limited wifi access, we found ourselves happily disconnected from the outside world, immersing ourselves in the peaceful surroundings. the friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, with special mentions to the owner's daughter who added a personal touch to our experience. the location was ideal, with Devizes Castle just a short distance away, offering a glimpse into the history of the area. As a travel enthusiast, I have stayed in many hotels, but this one stands out as a gem in the heart of Devizes. I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a welcoming and charming place to stay. Thank you to the staff for making our visit a special one - we will definitely be returning in the future.
